In Honor of Red Ribbon Week...

We have been participating in Red Ribbon Week at school all week. There have been various activities for the students to participate in during their lunch and throughout the week. Today the students were encouraged to sign a school-wide pledge to be drug free. In grades K-2, we were having a coloring contest. Here are a few of our students with some very colorful posters for the contest.

Tomorrow (Friday) the students will be invited to "Twist Drugs Away" while doing the twist to music during their lunch and enjoying twisty pretzels. Should be fun!!!

Tomorrow is also a costume dress-up day! I hope to see everyone in their costumes! I hope that I recognize you! After our morning assembly with the Mad Scientist, all of the Kindergarten and 1st grade classes will be having a parade around the school in our costumes! Pop back in tomorrow for pictures! And if you are looking for me tomorrow... look for this instead!

Thanks for visiting!
